When you choose to support the hospice by giving to the greatest need, it allows us to use those dollars for projects or urgent needs that will make the greatest impact for our patients, families and caregivers.
This fund is your opportunity to participate in expanding and enriching our programs, allowing us to serve even more through community outreach, patient care and supporting caregivers.
This is the bedrock of our hospice, an investment that funds the future by supporting capital improvements and providing staff with ongoing training and advanced equipment.
Advances our mission and vision by providing funding for technology, patient care equipment, and upgrades to our beautiful building and grounds.
The stained glass memorial is located within the Inpatient Center and is a beautiful remembrance for families.  The stained glass artwork was created by Abler Art Glass.

Our Memorial Patio has reached full capacity.  Orders for memorial bricks are currently not being accepted.  Two new memorial areas are being developed and will open in the near future for families to purchase and honor their loved ones.  We appreciate your patience during our construction phase.  If you have an interest in the new memorial brick areas, please send an email to Sara Weber at sweber@ssrhospicehome.org to be placed on a waiting list.

If you (or your spouse) work for a matching gift company, your gift may be doubled, or even tripled. The matching gift procedure is very simple. Charitable trusts are another option for donors who wish to make a current or deferred gift to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice but are concerned about retaining an income from the asset. Charitable trusts can provide donors with regular cash payments, current charitable income tax deduction, avoidance or reduction of estate taxes and elimination of money-management concerns.

*Giving through such arrangements can be a meaningful way to blend your philanthropic goals with your personal financial and tax-planning needs. Charitable trusts are set up through an outside advisor such as through a trust department of a bank. It is important that you let us know if Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice is a beneficiary of a trust agreement so we may thank you and recognize your gift appropriately.

Sometimes people no longer need a life insurance policy they purchased when they were younger to protect a growing family and/or they have accumulated ample assets necessary to meet day-to-day financial demands. In this case, the cash value of a life insurance policy as a charitable gift may make sense. Donors may also establish new cash value policies on themselves and deduct the premiums as long as Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice is named owner and beneficiary of the policy. For more information on making a charitable gift through life insurance, please call our office at 920-467-1800.
