Outdoor Furniture

The Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice gardens are a sanctuary for our patients, families and visitors. Throughout the grounds there are benches, dining sets, and seating areas on each patient suite for people to gather and experience moments of togetherness, and embrace the emotions being felt during the hospice journey.

The benches, dining sets and patient patio sets are available for donors to make a charitable donation in memory or honor of an individual, family or business. The gifts received for these items will help support the ongoing beautification of the gardens. Availability is limited within each option. Multiple donors may contribute through an honorarium or memorial fund. Full gift amount must be received before you are able to reserve a bench, dining or patio set.

Each option includes the bench, dining or patio set (based on chosen item), installation and a commemorative plaque. Naming opportunities are on a first come, first served basis. All reasonable requests will be considered for placement within the gardens, but not guaranteed.

A donation period will last for 10 years. The donor will be given the opportunity to renew the naming opportunity through a new charitable gift or be able to remove the piece of furniture for personal use. If the original donor opts not to renew after the 10 years, the donated bench, dining set or patio set and plaques may be removed or rededicated.
